As expected, the Columbus Blue Jackets will start Joonas Korpisalo in net tonight when they face the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena in Raleigh.
Korpisalo has struggled of late, most recently giving up four goals in a 5-2 loss to Toronto in Columbus last week. He's 2–3 over his last five games after starting the season 4–1.
The Blue Jackets are entering a crucial stretch of their remaining schedule with a game at Carolina tonight, at Chicago Friday night, at home against the Capitals Sunday and a road trip to Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
With 105 points, Columbus trails Washington (110 points) for the best record in the NHL and are two points up on Pittsburgh for second place in the Metropolitan Division.
The puck drops at 7 p.m. tonight. Fox Sports Ohio has televised coverage.
