In this week's ESPN's “Big Question” feature, NHL players are asked about the worst or funniest thing a fan has ever done. Eric Staal recounts the time the crowd in Winnipeg chanted “Jor-dan's bet-ter,” Jason Spezza finds it weird that some fans have named pets after him and so on.

However, when it comes to pure weird, nothing tops what happened to Ryan Johansen while he was in Columbus:

Ryan Johansen, Nashville Predators: "I had a girl, I think she was 19 or 20, in Columbus come up to me -- it was an autograph signing. And she puts this thing on the table and said, 'Can you sign this, please?' I said, 'What is this?' And she said, 'Oh, that's my birth-control kit.' And I was, 'Excuse me?' She said, 'Yeah, it's my birth-control kit.' And it was like a big line, crowded area, and I was like, do I sign this? So I ended up signing. It was funny. We were laughing."

So, that's... something.

And here, via dogscangrowbeards on r/hockey, is a photo of the signed kit, because the girl is his sister:

The expression “No words” is overused these days, but it absolutely applies here.
