The Blue Jackets' five-game losing streak has yielded its first casualty.
With Columbus' 5-4 loss to the Winnipeg Jets and Pittsburgh's 7-4 win over New Jersey Thursday night, the Penguins clinched home ice for the clash between the two teams in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

We appreciate Nick's confidence, but the Penguins are 31–6–4 (.805) at home and 19–13–7 (.577) on the road this season.
Game one in Pittsburgh, should take place Wednesday, April 12 or Thursday, April 13. Game three, the first game in the series that will take place at Nationwide Arena, will take place Monday, April 17 or Tuesday, April 18.
The exact dates will be announced Sunday, April 9.
