The question of AHL goalie depth may have already been solved.
According to Dan Milstein, a player agent, his client goaltender Ivan Kulbakov has been signed to a deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets organization. Columbus Dispatch's Aaron Portzline reports that it is an American Hockey League (AHL) only deal.

Kulbakov played for the Youngstown Phantoms last season in the United States Hockey League (USHL). He was second in the USHL in save percentage this past season only behind fellow Blue Jackets signee Matiss Kivlenieks in that stat.
Kulbakov will join Kivlenieks and likely Brad Thiessen in Cleveland next year as the Monsters try to rebound after their disappointing 2016-17 campaign.
