Training camp is going to quickly be upon us, and equipment news only hammers home that point.
Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has a new mask for the 2017-18 season. Its theme harkens back to a familiar phrase for Blue Jackets fans, "brick by brick," echoed by president of hockey operations John Davidson upon his arrival in 2012.

At a distance, it is a clean cut CBJ mask, and when you come closer you will enter the saga... It is a true Bobrovsky mask with the brick wall in focus mixed with the awesome CBJ logos.
Training camp for the Blue Jackets opens up on September 15, with on-ice training starting on September 16.
