You didn't think it wouldn't be Bob, did you?

Of course not.

John Tortorella confirmed this afternoon that Sergei Bobrovsky will start tonight's season opener for the Blue Jackets, who take on the New York Islanders in a 7 p.m. start at Nationwide Arena. Bobrovsky, last season's Vezina Trophy winner (the second of his career), figures to carry the mail for Columbus this season and will get an occasional breather from Joonas Korpisalo.

Korpisalo could get his first action of the season as early as tomorrow night in Chicago, but Tortorella typically doesn't reveal lineup information until the day of games.
