As one player returns, that means one player must sit.
The Blue Jackets expect to have captain Nick Foligno back in time for Game 1 on Thursday night at Capital One Arena, which means they've got a lineup decision to make. As they practiced Monday at the OhioHealth Ice Haus, forward Sonny Milano was the odd man out.
John Tortorella confirmed post-practice that Milano would be a healthy scratch for the series opener. This, from Aaron Portzline:
#CBJ Tortorella confirms that Sonny Milano will be a healthy scratch in Game 1 on Thursday, but says with certainty that there will be lineup changes as the series progresses. #ALLCAPS

In other lineup news: Markus Nutivaara skated on a regular pairing with Ryan Murray, according to The Athletic's Alison Lukan. He's expected to play in Game 1.
