The Columbus Blue Jackets will face another big road test against the New Jersey Devils. The Blue Jackets will look to get in the win column after a couple of games where they believed they underperformed.
The Blue Jackets will need to keep Devils forward Taylor Hall in check, and they'll need to find offense to keep up on the road.

Three Storylines
- Hall On Earth: The Blue Jackets will need to contain New Jersey Devil Taylor Hall if they'd like to have a chance tonight. The forward is on a double-digit point scoring streak, and it doesn't appear that he will be stopping anytime soon. Both quick and physical, Hall is a handful on the ice. Containing him is the best the Blue Jackets can hope for right now.
- Murray Returns: Ryan Murray is making his triumphant return to the NHL after being injured over two months ago. The lingering issue seems to be put to rest finally, and with it, he hopes to slide in for the rest of the season. The Blue Jackets play like a different team when he is on the ice, and they hope that good fortune returns to their lineup.
- Filling in for Foligno: While Nick Foligno is out with an injury, the Blue Jackets will need to find a way to produce offense. Foligno wasn't tearing up the league, but he was enough of a difference maker he still saw time on multiple units for the Blue Jackets. Adding in that he is the captain as well, this stretch without him will test his mettle.
