A sigh of relief, to be sure.
When Seth Jones left Monday's game in the second period, it was a little nervy. And though John Tortorella said his removal from the game was "precautionary," at this time of year you just never know. Any absence is huge.
The good news for the Blue Jackets is that Jones will be in the lineup tomorrow in Philadelphia. Tortorella confirmed after Wednesday's practice (in which Jones did not participate, according to The Athletic's Alison Lukan) that Jones is traveling and expected to play.
Jones is the NHL's second-leading scoring defenseman with 14 goals, tied with Zach Werenski and one behind PK Subban and Dougie Hamilton.
Torts says Calvert will draw back in. Nutivaara stays in the lineup. Healthy competition going on in defensive corps. #CBJ

Ryan Murray sat out Monday's game because he was "nicked up," Tortorella said, and he will not play tomorrow in Philadelphia.
