It's been a season of firsts for sensational Blue Jackets rookie center Pierre-Luc Dubois.
Two days after setting the franchise scoring record for rookies, the third pick 2016 NHL Draft became the first Blue Jacket to play in all 82 games of his rookie season in last night's 4-2 loss at Nashville.
He broke the rookie mark of 81 games played, previously held by William Karlsson (2015-16) and Serge Aubin (2000-01).
Dubois has 20 goals and 28 assists in 82 games this season for Columbus, finishing a +8 on the year and converting an impressive 12.1% of his shots into goals.
After a slow start to the season that saw him record just one goal and one assist in his first 12 games, Dubois picked up the pace in the second half of the season and finished hot down the stretch, scoring 11 points in his team's final eight games, including his first career hat trick, coming on March 29 in Calgary.
