Cam Atkinson is officially on fire.
The Blue Jackets' star winger tallied a hat trick against the Carolina Hurricanes as he continues his torrid pace of late.
Atkinson's goal marked the fourth consecutive game that he's scored a goal, and he added two more for good measure. He also registered a primary assist on Zach Werenski's second period goal. This is the fifth hat trick of his NHL career, the last coming Mar. 2018 against the Philadelphia Flyers (also on the road).
Atkinson led the game off with a sneaky one-timer from the slot, as he became available for Artemi Panarin.

His second goal was another beauty, and Panarin (again) found him alone in a prime scoring location.

His third goal came on the power play, another one-timer from a dangerous spot on the ice.
Elite shot. Elite celly, too.
