A whole lot went wrong for the Blue Jackets Thursday night.
In their sloppiest game of the postseason, Columbus fell 4-1 to the Boston Bruins to even their Eastern Conference Semifinal series at two games each.
What's worse is that a new team record 19,431 fans packed Nationwide Arena for Game 4 and they never really had a chance to get into the game. The Bruins got goals from David Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron in the first seven minutes of the game, effectively taking the standing room only crowd out of it midway through the first period.
Tonights attendance of 19,431 is the largest crowd for a #CBJ game @NationwideArena in franchise history. It surpassed the 19,395 in attendance on Apr. 19, 2018 vs. Washington in Game 4 of last years playoffs.
