Forward Kole Sherwood will be making his debut with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Sherwood grew up playing for the AAA Blue Jackets in town. He is a native of New Albany, Ohio.
It marks the first player from the AAA Blue Jackets program to play for the hometown team.
Sherwood has played in 34 games this season for the Cleveland Monsters where he has scored 11 goals and produced three assists for a total of 14 points.
The Blue Jackets will be taking on the Chicago Blackhawks in a game that will once again have huge playoff implications for Columbus.
