This record is coming from a goal with less than a minute remaining in overtime versus the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night at Nationwide Arena, to give the Blue Jackets the 4-3 win.

Jones passed Rick Nash for the milestone, who held the previous mark at six goals. Jones now has 157 points in 209 games played for the Blue Jackets.
