The Columbus Blue Jackets have been bitten by the injury bug but they my have received some good news as well in the mean time.
Defenseman Markus Nutivaara has returned to practice after suffering an upper body injury that has kept him out of the lineup since November 5th.
#CBJ D Markus Nutivaara, out since Nov. 5 with an upper-body ailment, is on the ice this morning. First time hes skated w the club since he went down. No contact drills as yet, but hes out there.

The Blue Jackets just lost Zach Werenski for a month after suffering a shoulder injury. This should lessen the blow if they can get Nutivaara back sooner rather than later. Nutivaara is not nearly as dynamic but is a more than capable stand in for Werenski.
The Blue Jackets next play Tuesday, December 3 against the Arizona Coyotes at Nationwide Arena.
