Snipers can be streaky fellows. The Columbus Blue Jackets sure know that.
Forward Oliver Bjorkstrand has his name etched in the franchise's record books after scoring a goal only 21 seconds into the team's home opener. The goal is now the quickest Blue Jackets goal scored in a home opener.
The previous record was held by Geoff Sanderson when he scored 31 seconds into the game during the 2001-2002 season.

The record previously belonged to forward Geoff Sanderson as he scored 31 seconds into the club's game against the St. Louis Blues on Oct. 4, 2001 to open the 2001-02 campaign.
Bjorkstrand has four points in the last three games and is heating up when the team needs him the absolute most.
