"The Blue Jackets' Reverse Retro 2022 jersey honors their original "Third" jersey with a reversed black body accented with Navy stripes along the sleeves," per the release. "Light Blue from the team's current "Third" adds a pop of color to the sleeves. Two different shoulder patches are used, one featuring a Kepi cap and the other a small version of the team's original CBJ crest. The original "Third," worn by the club between 2003-07, marked the first appearance of the Blue Jackets' current primary logo inspired by the state flag of Ohio with a unique pennant shape and red, white and blue colors with white stars."
The Jackets will wear these jerseys on Nov. 23, Dec. 4, Dec. 9, Dec. 27, Jan. 16, and Jan. 31.
