The Blue Jackets announced Monday that they signed defenseman Jake Christiansen to a one-year, two-way (NHL/AHL) deal for the 2023-24 season.

Christiansen, 23, appeared in 24 games for the Blue Jackets in 2022-23 and recorded four assists in addition to 11-23--34 in 50 AHL games with the Cleveland Monsters.
In three seasons with the Monsters, he's played 140 games and posted 27-67--94, and in two seasons with the Blue Jackets, he's played 32 games and registered 1-4--5.
Christiansen was scheduled to be a restricted free agent with arbitration rights headed into the off-season.
