Blue Jackets forward Kent Johnson is the latest player to be represented by hockey superagent Pat Brisson of CAA, according to multiple reports.

Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported here that Johnson had changed his representation to CAA and puckpedia.com now lists Brisson as his agent. Johnson was previously represented by Ross Gurney

In seven games this season, Johnson has posted 1-2--3 but has been a healthy scratch twice.

It's not uncommon for a player in the last year of their contract, like Johnson is, to change representation.

Brisson's clients, listed here, include fellow Blue Jacket Adam Fantilli, Blue Jackets prospect Luca Del Bel Belluz, and former Blue Jackets stars Seth Jones and Pierre-Luc Dubois.

Regardless of who represents him, Johnson's play on the ice is what is going to give either him or the team the most leverage in their upcoming contract negotiations.
