Blue Jackets prospects Jordan Dumais and Denton Mateychuk received invitations to Team Canada's selection camp ahead of the 2024 World Junior Championship.
This comes one day after Team USA announced its preliminary roster that includes Blue Jackets prospects Gavin Brindley and William Whitelaw.
Dumais, the 96th pick in the 2022 Draft, is on a torrid pace for the Halifax Mooseheads, for whom he is now the all-time leading scorer, posting 15-27--42 in 19 games. His point total is second in the QMJHL but his 2.21 points per game average is the league's best by a margin of 0.58.

Mateychuk was the 12th overall pick in the 2022 Draft and has had a fantastic season for the Moose Jaw Warriors. Like Dumais, Mateychuk, who has posted 6-27--33 in 21 games, is second among WHL defensemen in total points but first in that group with 1.57 points per game.

Both players should have a great chance to make the team and earn the chance to play on one of hockey's biggest stages.
