Blue Jackets Prospect Jordan Dumais Undergoes Successful Surgery To Repair Bilateral Inguinal Hernias, Recovery Time Approximately Six Weeks

Blue Jackets prospects and Halifax Mooseheads forward Jordan Dumais underwent successful surgery to repair bilateral inguinal hernias, the Blue Jackets announced Friday. Dumais, the 96th overall pick in the 2022 Draft, has posted 16-31--47 in 21 games this season with the Mooseheads where he set the franchise's all-time record for points. In five games at the 2024 IIHF World Juniors, Dumais posted 1-1--2 for a Team Canada squad that lost to Czechia in the quarterfinals. 

In 2022-23, Dumais recorded 54-86--140 in 64 games and won the QMJHL MVP.
