Blue Jackets Activate Defenseman Nick Blankenburg Off Injured Reserve, Loan Him To AHL Cleveland

The Blue Jackets activated Nick Blankenburg off injured reserve and loaned him to the AHL's Cleveland Monsters. 

Blankenburg hasn't played since Dec. 19 after suffering an upper-body injury. This season, he's posted 3-8--11 in 16 AHL games and 0-0--0 in six NHL games.
