Blue Jackets prospect David Jiricek, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, posted a hat trick in a four-point outing for the AHL's Cleveland Monsters in a 9-0 win over the Chicago Wolves on Saturday.

The 20-year-old defenseman now has three goals and seven points in six AHL games this season in addition to one goal and nine points in 36 NHL games.

Jiricek was sent down to the AHL on Jan. 25 after playing one NHL game since Jan. 9 and three pro games overall in that time.
