The Regina Pats lost 4-1 in game seven of the first round of the WHL playoffs to the Saskatoon Blades on Monday. However, Blue Jackets prospect Stanislav Svozil, the 69th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, scored Regina's lone goal, capping off a fantastic season for him.

Sure, playing with Connor Bedard probably helped his point total, but Svozil has shown to be a productive player away from the Pats as well, posting 1-7--8 in seven games at the 2023 World Juniors for Czechia.

With his WHL season being over, Svozil could make his professional debut with the Monsters or even the Blue Jackets, since he signed a three-year entry-level contract already.

Svozil's promising performance in junior hockey puts him in a group of exciting prospects on the blue line in the Blue Jackets organization.
